About the speaker:
Romy Willemsen obtained her BSc and MSc in Nutrition and Health at Wageningen University and Research and specialized in Epidemiology and Public Health. Following her graduation in 2018, she joined the Human Nutrition department at Wageningen University & Research as a research and education assistant. In August 2019, Romy embarked on her PhD at the Public Health and Primary Care department of Leiden University Medical Center. Her doctoral research focused on evaluating digital platforms in healthcare. In 2022, alongside her PhD, she took on the role of project manager for the Horizon Europe project Label2Enable, which promoted a quality and reliability label for health apps based on CEN-ISO/TS 82304-2 standards. In November 2024, Romy transitioned into the professional sector, joining Ipsos I&O as a Project Manager and Researcher in Public Affairs. Romy Willemsen (0000-0002-2038-8175) - ORCID
